Indie 5K

The Details:

• The Indie 5K is free and open to ALL TRE attendees and exhibitors, including retailers, exhibiting brand personnel, media, event management professionals, speakers, partner organizations, and industry professionals.

• The Indie 5K begins at 7:00 AM; a one-mile fun run and walk option starts at 7:05 AM.

• Participants will run the same course Cross Champs athletes race; Cross Champs will kick off immediately after the Indie 5K at 7:30 AM (women’s race) and 8:05 AM (men’s race), allowing everyone the opportunity to watch the professionals compete.

• Teams are encouraged to participate! Awards will be given to the fastest retail store team and the fastest brand team; teams are scored using cross country scoring. More details will be shared soon for other award categories.

• The event will be cross country style, taking place on grass; spikes are welcome but not mandatory.

• Transportation will be available to all participants. Shuttles will depart the Hilton Austin lobby beginning at 5:45 AM (last shuttle departs at 6:30 AM) and will arrive at Camp Mabry with time for participants to warm up. Shuttles will depart the course well before the exhibit hall opens Thursday morning.

• Participants will enjoy free breakfast and coffee after the event, while also having the opportunity to explore the post-race expo.

• Important: All participants must bring a government-issued ID!
